This group of "Toms" (male turkeys) comes to our house in the evenings and will make their way into the woods to roost in high branches. They have very good eyesight in daylight but at night their vision is poor so they need to roost up high to stay safe from predators. And they need to select strong branches as each of these wild turkeys might weigh 20 pounds!
