We often see foxes and kits hunting in the fields around our house during the warmer seasons. Even on cold winter days they sometimes make an appearance. This one trotted over our backyard pond and stayed just long enough for me to get some photos. Moments later he was gone and all that remained were his winding tracks through snow covered fields leading back to his warm den.
