As I get ready to take flight on my sled I'm reminded that on this day in aviation history, February 9 1969, the very first Boeing 747 took to the air. The 747 is the first "jumbo jet" and has a capacity for 416 passengers. My little sled is built for one, but has just as much capacity as any jumbo jet. I simply need to fly down the hills 416 times in one day. I know I can do it!
