Our backyard playground is buried in snow, as it always is in winter. It looks lonely out there all by itself with no sign of little Otter tracks leading to it. All those tracks lead to the sledding hills and skating ponds at this time of year. I'm sure the playground enjoys the season of peace and quiet and rest.
I might hang a bird feeder from the playground so a few birds can visit and keep it company until I get back there again in the spring. But the snow is so deep that it will be a challenge to see if I can even make it to the playground at all! Don't worry about me. When I try I'll wear a life jacket just to be on the safe side.
