I call this special goalie move "Catching the Chipmunk" after inventing it in my house. One day a chipmunk got in the house a lot of times! Every time I caught him and put him outside he found his way back inside. He really likes it in here. I found him playing in the dining room, living room, laundry room, basement and twice in the kitchen. To catch him I put on my goalie gloves, grabbed my hockey stick and got to work darting and pouncing just like you see in the photo. Those moves work really well for catching chipmunks and for catching pucks around the net too.
After spending the day playing chipmunk hockey with my little friend I eventually discovered how he was coming inside so easily. He had his own secret chipmunk entrance: the laundry drier vent! I plugged up the vent with some wire screen and only take it off now when I feel like playing chipmunk hockey in the kitchen. In the next post you'll see a picture of my clever little chipmunk friend who helped me become a better goalie.
